Welcome to our website.
Fred Koschetzki and Laurel Lee, a lifelong
collaborating artist team.
Our life's adventure as artists started over 45
years ago in college as art students.
I majored in dance and Fred earned a masters degree in art with a
major in ceramics. The pursuit of
an artists life has been an interesting undertaking.
Our dream of living a creative life has taken us
through various mediums and styles.
At times I was Fred's artists muse at other times an active and
creative partner but we always worked together with a clear vision in
the production of the best our skills have to offer.
After college the first commercial exploits
involved selling ceramics at craft fairs, sculpture, pottery and ceramic
art jewelry. Over the years Fred painted and several years were spent
concentrating in this medium with numerous gallery shows throughout the Woodstock NY
area. Life's road with its
enigmatic twists and turns has directed our creative energies towards
precious metal jewelry.
Currently our studio is dedicated to the creation of jewelry and we
manage the ceramics arts program at a local college.
In jewelry production we employ traditional artisan
handcrafting techniques and do all the designing and fabrication in our
studio. Everything is
handmade by us.
Our studio is an old one room school house and is
located at the base of a Mountain with a waterfall across the road, 6
miles from Woodstock NY,
a peaceful corner of the world.
